Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. At the age of five and moved to Oxfordshire and enrolled in her first Dragon School. Emma's dream was to become an actor. When she was 6, she enrolled in the Oxford Stagecoach Theatre Arts branch and took lessons on singing, acting, and dance. Through a school play as well as the stage of a Stagecoach Production, Emma was the lead at the age 10, and acted. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the 2001 version from J.K. Rowling's bestselling British novel was published in 1999. Emma was discovered as a casting representative by her Oxford drama teacher. David Heyman announced to Emma that, after auditioning for eight times Emma as well as Rupert Grint were chosen as Hermione and Harry Potter. Emma's debut on screen came with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone's debut in 2001. The highest-grossing movie of 2001, the film set records for its opening day revenue as well as opening weekend takings. The film was praised by critics who praised the film and particularly the younger actors. The Daily Telegraph praised Emma for her excellent performance. Emma got five nominations in recognition of her outstanding performance. In the end, she received the Young Artist Award in Leading Young Actress of a Film.
